A life remembered

Where it started

A song takes you back to how it felt.

Photographs show what happened. Video shows how it looked. Neither of them is the feeling. Memory Lane exists to put that feeling somewhere you can press play.

“There was a time you would have done something with that.” A friend said it over coffee. Will LeGrys is a singer and a songwriter. The sentence bothered him, which is how Memory Lane started.

The question underneath it was simple. What if somebody else’s memories could become a song - not a generic one, not a name dropped into a chorus, but something that actually contained the people, the places and the small habits that made them them?

He writes every commission himself. Advanced tools help restore a photograph or cut a video reel to the vocal. They do not decide the lyric. A story has to be understood before it can be sung, and understanding is still a person’s job.

The point is not a file on a hard drive. It is something you can give, open, and still have in ten years - when a wedding song has become family history, or a song about a grandparent is the way a child meets them.

Written, not generated

Melody, chords and words come from the details you give. If a line could belong to anyone, it gets cut.

Made to be held

The digital song is yours either way. The packages that matter also arrive as a box, a bottle, a journal.

One studio, finite dates

Will records these himself in London. That is the limit, and it is also the reason they don’t sound alike.

Your story. Your memories. Your song.
